I purchased this dress in ivory with champagne sash. I ordered custom measurements. I purposely gave measurements half inch smaller on bust and waist and when it arrived, 3 weeks after I ordered, it fit perfectly. I read reviews that mentioned their sizing was generous. I didn't have time for alterations. Also, the picture doesn't show the beading on sash very well. Its really beautiful. What I didn't like was the bow in front. If you look closely at the last picture you can see it. I didn't care for it in the color i chose so I snipped it neatly in the back on the sides of the zipper. Granted, my dress wasn't contrasting so it wasn't very noticeable. I am a pear shape plus size. This style accentuated my small waist and camoed my hips and thighs. I didn't wear a slip. I did wear a boustier to keep the girls up. One important detail, i sew and knew there would be a lot of fabric in that full skirt. Besides giving slightly smaller bust and waist, i shaved off 3 inches from hips because of my body type. (Big booty) i didnt want all that excess. The dress was still very full. I was married in northern Australia so my dress was carry on baggage, shuffled, folded in half from hotel to hotel. I hung in shower and steamed out the wrinkles. It wasn't perfect but didn't require ironing. The dress was very well constructed. All seams were finished and straight. I tried on many dresses and found none, not even $2k ones, that were better made. For less than $300 I received a custom dress, a wrap, a lace jacket(wasn't sure which I'd prefer and ended up wearing neither), a veil, tiara, and a hanging bag. I have suggested Veaul to several people and when my son gets married next year, I will be ordering my mother of the groom dress! Regarding this very detailed review... I was VERY skeptical about mail ordering a wedding dress and read the reviews before ordering. I did have an off the rack backup plan and figured I could risk it at such a good price. It paid off!
